Meet the board of directors

Our Board of Directors is made up entirely of veterans who volunteer their time and energy to lead Horsepower4Heroes. United by a shared passion for off-roading and service, they bring decades of military experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to community. As off-road enthusiasts, they understand firsthand the power of the trail to build connection, confidence, and camaraderie—and they’re driven to share that experience with others who’ve served.

  • Joshua spent 13 years in the Marine Corps with multiple deployments. Within these experiences, he has seen the many issues that tend to come when those who have served, separate and transition into the civilian world.  Driven by a deep personal connection to the mission, Joshua’s involvement stems from the loss of close friends in service and after service, inspiring him to create meaningful opportunities for healing and camaraderie. He is passionate about providing a supportive community for veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and their families, offering an outlet and camaraderie that extends beyond the off-road and shooting expeditions.  His enthusiasm for preserving the legacy of fallen heroes and supporting those who served fuels his efforts to empower veterans and foster a strong, united community through the nonprofit’s initiatives. Additionally, Joshua owns a security consulting company dedicated to employing and offering opportunities to the veteran, active duty, and first responder community.

  • Enlisting in the Coast Guard in 2009 Browde has seen the struggles that come with military service. After several losses to members he served with he began seeking an outlet. This outlet was the off-road community. When sharing stories, experiences, and laughs he sought out to find a way to bring more veterans, active duty, and first responders to this world. Through this accepting community we look to share struggles, laughs, and certainly victories together. On this concept Raptors and Rifles was founded.

  • Design Director

THE Kyle Farley is a U.S. Navy veteran with over 20 years of service. After his military career, he transitioned into the civilian sector as a Military Arms instructor. He is also an animated and energetic Raptor enthusiast constantly seeking to share the next off road adventure. Now, as a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for Raptors and Rifles, Kyle channels his passion for veterans, marksmanship and offroading into meaningful action. He brings a huge wealth of knowledge, laughter, enthusiasm and skills to the team. THE Kyle Farley has been a very active supporter of Raptors and Rifles since its inception and we are excited to see what he does as a board member.

  • Tara, an Air Force Veteran, has been off-roading and adventuring her entire life. She wanted to become part of this cause to share her passion and reconnect with veterans. Joining the Raptor community was a huge part of emerging from her COVID depression where she found a new family along the way. She loves getting out on off-road long drives in her Raptor, taking the road less travelled.

  • Kevin Lopez is a Florida native who joined the United States Coast Guard in 2009 after falling in love with the USCG rescue helicopter and becoming an Aviation Maintenance Technician—serving across the United States. Kevin was one of our sponsored veterans at the Dust Devil Jamboree and immediately got involved. Kevin has flown out to many events and is passionate about helping as many people as possible. Kevin is serving as treasurer of Raptors and Rifles
